Pattison Media’s paNOW.com is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - a growing, family-oriented community, situated along the breathtaking borders of the Boreal Forest and close to some of the most beautiful beaches and lakes our country has to offer.

paNOW is the hub of our news portal operations in the province. As part of our team, you’ll help to edit and contribute meaningful and informative content to several of our sites that include traditional news and sports reporting and specialized content on agriculture and the cannabis industry in western Canada. This material is also shared on our partner broadcast radio stations in several communities.

The ideal candidate has a passion for news, experience in editing and reporting for web and radio, a clear grasp on CP writing style, is energetic and has the ability to work in a fast-paced news environment.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Covering all aspects of news as a general assignment reporter; writing accurate and balanced news and feature pieces that include photos, videos, and audio.
• Pitching story ideas and assisting with the development of others.
• Editing and publishing copy that meets our style guidelines (CP format).
• Demonstrating a sense of urgency for coverage of breaking news online and on-air.
• Finding ways to maximize our audience.
• Working Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with the ability to be flexible on those times depending on breaking news.
