Pattison Media is seeking an accomplished, forward-thinking sales leader to step into a pivotal leadership role as Director of Sales, Non-Metro Markets.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Sales, Non–Metro Markets will:
- Lead by example and set the standard of excellence for growth of our media operations and sales personnel.
- Work collaboratively with Market GM’s to coach, train and develop the sales leaders in our Non-Metro Markets.
- Work cooperatively with those sales leaders to manage, recruit, mentor and motivate a large team of media sales professionals.
- Lead the development of revenue opportunities across our growing media platforms.
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with traffic, creative, production, promotions and financial departments.
- Establish objectives and support company policies and programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years sales management experience, plus 8-10 years related experience in a senior sales position.
- University degree in relevant field is an asset.
- High level of exposure to risk management and contract negotiations.
- Skilled in analytical thinking to support sales and business optimization.
- Highly responsible and reliable with exceptional attention to detail.
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of the Broadcasting and Media industry.
- Experience with selling digital media is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage a team of high performers.
- Strong understanding of Numeris ratings and ability to effectively utilize results to profile stations in the market.
- Experience in effectively managing station budgets and exceeding revenue goals.
- Competitive mindset with strong analytical, organizational and persuasion skills.
- Highly creative, innovative, enthusiastic and strategic.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of WideOrbit an asset.
- Excellent prospecting and presentation skills.
