MORNING NEWS ANCHOR

Pattison Media - Kamloops Division, CFJC, is seeking to add an experienced broadcast journalist to anchor our morning news on CIFM and B-100.

The ideal candidate is a skilled radio news presenter with excellent reading and writing skills and a proven ability to identify and develop stories. We are searching for an individual who can produce stories with creativity and professionalism. Your strong social media skills will be relied upon to develop and build our online presence.

You will produce and anchor weekday mornings for our two radio stations while keeping our CFJC Today website up to date with the latest news from our region.

Your qualifications will include:

  • 3 years of experience in a broadcast news environment
  • Outstanding editorial, reading, and writing skills
  • A strong command of CP Style writing
  • Being adept at all delivery platforms, including engagement on the web and social media
  • Broadcast Journalism degree or diploma or equivalent experience.
